quality control is meticulous.
Every new ingredient and supplier is closely scrutinized and then
routinely tested to be sure that they meet the exacting specifications crucial
to the baby pigs’ naïve digestive system. Incoming trucks and ingredients are
inspected to assure strict biosecurity.
Manufacturing
baby pigs diets is a challenge. Numerous dairy and cereal products not used in
later diets must be kept in inventory.
The high milk content requires low temperature, slow speed pelleting to
prevent protein damage. Many full range feed manufacturers recognize that making
mini pellets is an inefficient use of their capital and equipment. For this
